In this hands-on workshop we will guide you through all the steps necessary to create a 3d-printed model of a mandible or an orbit to aid in surgical reconstruction. You will learn to derive 3d-model from a CT-scan and prepare them for printing. With the use of free software and low cost 3d printer you will be able to start your own 3d lab for less than 1000 euros.
In this workshop the participants will low cast. Further, the advantages and disadvantages of these implants will be discussed.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LUMC, Leiden, The Netherlands and Angela Ridwan (Head of Dept. Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. Special Care Dentistry) at Amsterdam UMC location VUmc, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They are supported by the ADT Board and local organising committee.
